Chaplain (CPT) Roger D. Lanter received his promotion to the Rank of Captain on July 12th at the Georgia Department of Defense State Headquarters for the State Defense Force in Atlanta, Georgia. Captain Lanter has also received new orders to serve in the States 1st BDE / 1st BN Headquarters located at the Army National Guard Armory in Rome Georgia. While he is still serving as an instructor for "Ethics of Military Conduct" with the SGAUS East Coast School held at Mayport Naval Base in Jacksonville Florida. Captain Lanter has also been completing his training as a "Military Emergency Management Specialist" for the Department of Homeland Security and FEMA. Chaplain Lanter and his wife Teresa live in Taylorsville Georgia. They had lost their home in a tornado on March 15th and are now rebuilding a new home.
